Phase 3: Post-Implementation
The biggest challenge in database
implementation is user adoption. It is
probably one of the top 5 reasons
companies pull the plug on their
database system. We will make sure you
have measures and metrics in place to
show your management
team the value and effectiveness of your
system to both your users and your
bottom line.
Further System Development
You may have hundreds of ideas to
improve the way you do business and how
your database system can help in this
effort. We can help you sculpt these
ideas into concrete solutions, and set a
timeline to complete each solution.
Training
Now that you have trained your planned
end users, what happens when someone new
is hired? Or when your company acquires
another company? Part of your initial
training plan must include new user
training and follow-up training. Your
selected database system may go through
an upgrade and have changes that need to
be communicated to the end user through
additional training. We can assist you
in developing an appropriate training
program for all of your needs.
Tutorials
In addition to training, users may have
the option of self-training, but this
requires a lot of work and set-up. Webinars
or online tutorials can be developed to
provide your users these training tools.
We can help you develop such tools to
make your users’ experience a positive
one.
Metric Development
Part of your ongoing database management
means capturing the right data and data
completion/accuracy. What is an
acceptable level of completion and/or
accuracy for your company? What areas
of data would be appropriate to measure?
We can work with you to develop a
comprehensive and useful metrics program
to use ongoing to ensure you are meeting
your data goals.
